Web 2.0 changed for good the Internet habits. In Web 1.0 my website was my property, just mine. Web 2.0 is all about interaction, involvement between you the reader and me the creator of the website. Sorry, but sometimes you may not even recognize who the creator was in the first place.
The number of Web 2.0 Applications is so big, and keeps growing as we speak, that is really hard to follow everything. Definitely on top are: Squidoo, Twitter, Facebook, Blogs as well.
Squidoo has a special touch, working with modules is easy after you bypass the learning curve and you know to work with them, but beginners straggle until they get to this level.
My advice for beginners is to:

Squidoo has given me opportunity to interact with its members and moderators in their forum (SquidU). All I can say is that they are all accommodating. When you request for information, they will give it to you the soonest time possible. That’s why I haven’t got any difficulty learning to do my first lens. It’s fun! I like reading other lenses too because most of the lenses are focusing on giving tips and advice.
Squidoo is a commendable community!
