The D-Day Of My New Blogging Challenge!
I don’t know anyone who thought the bubble of the 2000 U. S. Economy could last forever, but unfortunately, no one thought that our wallets would shrink as fast as they did either!
So, we face an uncertain reality now, an unclear future, and I believe some pro-active steps have the potential of achieving some personal changes.
Having said that – This is the D-Day in which my new Blogging Challenge starts.
Actually, I am a little dishonest as the real thinking, setting short term goals, assessing the competition, and some initial actions started last night when I was not able to fall asleep.
The long term vision on this project already exists, as you have glimpsed in the previous post. You know what I want to accomplish. However, thinking, putting together details, creating a list of priorities, deciding the order of importance, and even writing down my commitment, has been a different experience.
I am dreaming of disproving the myth that PPC is the only solution to the wealth on Internet marketing.
I know it looks odd and somehow against the stream but I dedicate this challenge to beginner blogger, and the ones who don’t make serious money yet with their blogging efforts.
I sincerely have the nightmare of a possible economic turmoil. I think we will get better, but it is also possible to get worse prior to economic reversal.
So, my long term goals are not just words on a white piece of paper. My goals and responsibilities weigh heavily on my shoulders. No wonder I spent last night thinking and sleep did not come.
Everything I stated on the Challenge announcement remains the same:

I will now add a little more information. The model will be tested against three blogs:
- My personal blog, which is an old blog
- This blog which is my “document blog” will inherit some elements as well. Here is where you will get a post each week with the progress of the challenge. I will document each step/action as I accomplish them.
- I will choose a WPMU blog for testing. I have not yet decided which one I will use. I am considering one which it is very close to my heart. I will get that information to you at a later date…
- Last night I decided to experiment, as well, with a new blog. I purchased a new domain: increase-blog-traffic.net. It will have an inner title as well, “Safety Net Blogging,” and will be a brand-new WordPress Blog on my domain. I will not set up the blog until the end of this week. Therefore, I will wait to propagate the new domain for now.
Note: I don’t expect the heavier response to come from the new blog simply because the ranking is a slow motion process. However, I do see some benefit in testing the effect of the Model on a bread-new Blog.
So, for testing, I established a small diversity here with old verses new blogs and two different platforms.
Watch the post for the first week on 24th June.
Success is not an accident.
Michey
