I will start a new Challenge, for creating a Model of Monetizing Blogs in 3 months of heavy testing.
Do we really need a new Model?
I think we do!
Not because aren’t enough Models on the Internet, but the majority of them are created by big gurus, they forget their starting days, and now they are big advocates of: PPC, PPV, CPV.
So I am not saying that their Models aren’t good but they left aside an important category of people – the beginners – who cannot afford PPC from the start.
The proof of my theory is the established fact that from 100 people trying, 5% succeed and 95% fail.
If we already have a Model so good that fits all then the above result should be different. A model which fits all doesn’t exist, we need different models for different category of people.
What I want to create is a Model of Monetizing Blogs specifically for beginners, in the hope of shrinking the 95% to a much smaller percentage.
I am not going to re-invent the hen and the eggs, I’ll incorporate some brilliant ideas from existing Models in my Model, but I’ll combine them with SEO best practice, free traffic from Social Media, and using wheels best techniques for backlinks… and I’ll stop at the gate of PPC.
Very small investments will be necessary for:
but you don’t need to stay with your wallet open all day long spending on PPC/PPV/CPV.
What you cannot find in my Model are the following arrogant theories:
- You have to invest $10,000 to gain $20,000; NO,
- Not everybody, and especially not beginners, have $10,000 to spend up front
- There is no guaranty that spending $10,000, you will get back $20,000
- And if you start to invest using PPC, you start with very, very small amounts and watch carefully the results
- This is a business so you have to invest! Well, Yes and No! I want you to start making money first without to bankrupt yourself and your family, and after you start making money, it must be your decision to put back in your business a part of them
What I recommend, after you start making money, is to invest 1/2 of your earnings but monitoring carefully the return of investment. If you don’t make $2.00 for each $1.00 investment, you just stop investing and go back to some “learning process”. I know a trick to double what you invest, but must be tested first with very small amounts… simply because what is working for me maybe not working for you , my niche is different then yours, my “thinking as a marketer” is different then yours, especially if you are a beginner, and so on.
PPC has the potential of expending your profit but it is a long learning curve to learn how to do it the profitable way. So exactly the category of beginners, I doubt that they can mastermind PPC from thin air.
This is my plan!
- I’ll set-up a new 3 month Challenge in which my goal is to generate $3,000 per month from blogs alone at the end of this range
- I’ll document all I’ll do in a post weekly in this blog
- Developing the Model I’ll apply my techniques to just two blogs, and you will be able to look it over and follow the evolution of the Model
If I succeed you have a documented new Model of Monetizing Blogs and it will be easy for everybody who want to try it, to follow in my steps, looking over my shoulders and reproduce the success with your blogs.
If I don’t succeed in 3 month, this doesn’t mean that it is impossible to achieve the goal, this simply means that:
- the range of 3 month was too optimistic
- the ranking process was slower then I estimated, and
- I continue to stay with my Model until I reach my goal
So my challenge starts on 16th June and ends on 16th September.
You will get one post per each week on Thursdays in which I document what I did in last week.
So let’s get busy, look up for
- the confirmation of the Challenge start on 16th June and
- the first post on 24th June in which I’ll comment the first week of work
Success is not an accident
